New Guide!

Welcome to the Stanford Sites 4.0 User Guide.

Request a New Site

Main content start

Depending on your needs, we have two different ways of requesting a new site.

Request a new self-service site

Interested in getting started with our new Stanford Sites platform? Drupal 9 is available for Stanford administrative unit, institute, academic department, lab, or personal websites. If you are interested in building your own site, request one through this ServiceNow Site Request Form

Important things to note

  • All new site names must be unique. If you have a Stanford Site already and are starting a new version, request a site name with the year appended or something similar. (e.g., userguide2023.sites.stanford.edu) Upon launch, your production URL can be pointed to your new site and the old one removed.
  • To request a new site on the Stanford Sites Intranet service, use this Intranet Platform Request Form.
  • Part of the Stanford School of Engineering? Learn more about the Engineering theme.
