- Create a new Basic Page (or edit an existing page).
- Scroll down to the Page Metadata.
- Under Page Image, click the Add Media button.
- In the Page Description field, enter a brief description of the page (up to 255 characters). Note: This description will appear in list paragraphs in both the Default List view and the Card Grid view.
- Click Save.
Set a Page Type
Setting a Basic Page Type allows you to organize content based on predefined taxonomy term.
Basic Page Type taxonomies allow you to categorize and group your content. For example, you can create a Basic Page Type called “Research Project,” then build a list of page using that identifier.
When building Basic Page Type vocabulary, you should choose terms that represent broad categories, rather than narrow descriptions. For example, “Research Projects” would be a good broad category, but “Alzheimer Research” may be too narrow.
- Add a new term to your site’s Basic Page Types vocabulary. See Adding new taxonomy terms.
- Create a new Basic Page (or edit an existing page).
- Scroll down to the Page Metadata.
- Click on the Basic Page Type drop-down menu and select a term.
- Click Save.
