Faculty Subtheme Features
Lockup settings
The Faculty Subtheme has an extended masthead area to allow for names, titles, and department and/or school affiliations. This section of the site is called the "lockup."
Default lockup
By default, the lockup shows the Site Title (usually the name) that was entered when the site was created. This can be adjusted by going to Configuration> System> Site Settings.
If you wish to add more information, we recommend that you use one of the custom lockup options detailed below.
Custom lockup
If you wish to adjust your lockup, go to Configuration> System> Lockup Settings. You should see this:
Uncheck the box. You should now see options to choose Lockup Options, along with any needed fields to populate the lockup style you have chosen. Option D is the most commonly used option, since it works very well with long faculty titles.
The following options are available on the Faculty Subtheme.
Option A
Option A shows Line 1 in the standard lockup font with Line 5 in all-caps right below.
Option B
Option B shows Line 1 small and Line two with the standard lockup font.
Option D
Option D shows Line 1 in the standard lockup font and Line 3 in italics.
Option M
Option M shows Line 1 and Line 2 in the standard lockup fonts.
Option T
Option T is not fully supported, but if you need three lines in the masthead, it is a good option. Leave line 4 blank and use Lines 1-3.
