Opportunities Taxonomies

Main content start

There are four taxonomy vocabularies associated with Opportunities — Opportunity Type, Opportunity Filters, Units, and Sponsor. The following guide covers the use for each.

Opportunity Type

This taxonomy vocabulary is used to classify opportunities for use with the Lists Paragraph. It can also be used to add additional information about the Opportunity to the page display.

The Opportunity Type will appear in the sidebar on the Opportunity page display.

Note: these terms can be used as filters on the Lists Paragraph, but cannot be used as filters in the Filtered Lists view.

Opportunity Filters

This taxonomy vocabulary is where you will set up your Labels and Categories for the filtered view of Opportunities.

The Opportunity Filters will appear in the sidebar on the Opportunity page display.

Learn more in our guide to Set Up Filters.

Units

This is used to tag credit-granting opportunities with the number of units of credit. You can select multiple options if the course can be taken for a range of Units.

The Units will appear in the sidebar on the Opportunity page display.

Note: these terms cannot be used as filters in the Filtered Lists view.

Sponsor

This taxonomy is not yet implemented and does not appear anywhere for display. Stay tuned for updates!
