Update from a views block to a paragraph

On some older sites, the Filtered List pages for News and Events use a block rather than a paragraph. Here are steps for removing the block and adding the list paragraph. You'll need Layout Builder access for doing this.

Layout Builder is an additional tool for adjusting some page configurations on a per-page basis. Users granted this role should have previous familiarity with Layout Builder and an understanding that it is not a supported tool. 

1. Navigate to the list page
2. Select Layout from the local tasks menu. This will allow you to edit the layout for that page.
3. Uncheck Show content preview. This will display the blocks instead of the content for this page.
4. Scroll down to find the “News - Default list -” views block. If you’re on a news page, it’ll say “News”. For other content types, this block will reference that content type.
5. Bring up the edit menu by clicking on the pencil in the upper right of the views block edit area
6. On the edit menu select Remove. This will bring up a confirmation. Select Remove again.
7. Save this configuration by scrolling to the top of the edit page and selecting Save Layout. This will bring you back to the page content.
8. Select Edit from the local tasks menu, and follow directions for adding a content to a page. Be sure to:
   1. select View: News (or the appropriate content type)
   2. add a Headline such as “News Articles”
   3. Select Visually hide heading after expanding Styles/Behaviors
9. Save the paragraph and the node edit page.
10. Check out your results!
