Individuals with a full-service SUNet ID may create personal sites on Stanford Sites Drupal CMS when the site is related to their work at Stanford University. By default, the Business Owner of the site is always the site owner.

Personal sites are expected to adhere to all University policies, including those around trademarks, accessibility, and the Terms of Use for sites, which includes specific policies around non-commercial use.

Personal sites must use a SUNet or Alias in the URL and must use a four-part people.stanford.edu domain, like username.people.stanford.edu.

Personal sites are evaluated bi-annually based on SUNet ID for the site owner. Sites that no longer have an owner with an active SUNet ID will be retired.

See below for additional policies related to personal sites on Stanford Sites.
